Tiffany is a Recruiter in Deacon’s Corporate Services Division. The division focuses on placing Banking, Human Resources, Marketing and Business Development Professionals in a variety of roles.
In 2007, Tiffany obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a concentration in Human Resources Management from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada. After completing her degree, she returned home to Barbados to start her career as a Human Resource Assistant for Deloitte and Touche. In 2013, she obtained her Master’s Degree in Global Human Resources Management, from the University of Liverpool, Liverpool England.
Tiffany brings with her over 10 years’ experience in Human Resource Recruiting and 3 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing Recruiting. Tiffany’s passion for recruiting is derived from being able to help people find their dream career.
Tiffany relocated to San Antonio in 2016 with her husband Mark and her 5 year old son Coen, along with their cute little puppy Arlo. She enjoys going to the beach, swimming in the rivers and returning home to participate in Carnival.
Courtney is a Recruiter in the IT Division. The IT Division focuses on placing Information Technology Professionals in the areas of Leadership, Project Management, Developers, Analysts, Engineers, and Architects.
Courtney was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She is a recent graduate from Texas Tech University, where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Rawls College of Business. While in college, Courtney served in multiple industries such as law, outside sales, and retail sales. In addition, Courtney focused many of her efforts in campus organizations in which developed strong leadership, relationship building, and management skills.
Courtney currently lives in New Braunfels, TX. She loves being outdoors, traveling, listening to live music, and spending time with her family, friends, and her Goldendoodle, Tito.
Abbey has a dual role as Deacon’s Front Office and Social Media Coordinator.
Her primary responsibilities include maintaining Deacon’s social media pages and website in addition to managing the day-to-day operations in the Front Office. Abbey also works with Deacon’s Marketing Initiatives.
Abbey graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. Abbey started with Deacon in 2019, bringing over 7 years of sales and customer service experience.
Abbey is currently living in Spring Branch with her four fur babies. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, sketching, poetry, and exploring new places.
Amy Lundgren joined Deacon Recruiting in 2019 as the Office Administrator. She started her professional career with Deacon Recruiting in 1996 in the operations of the company. In 2005 she pursued a career in Real Estate; alongside her mother and was key in opening and operating their Real Estate office, Deborah Myers Real Estate, in Alamo Heights. Amy’s career continued in the real estate management side when Keller Williams acquired Deborah Myers Real Estate and Amy was recruited into the Assistant Team Leader (management) role with the Keller Williams Heritage office in San Antonio. Amy’s extensive management and operations background has lead her back to Deacon into the office administrator position as an integral part of the operations team.
Amy lives in Alamo Heights with her husband, Andy, and their blended family of five kids; Emily, Tanner, Sophie, Olivia and Josie. She enjoys fitness, spending time with her family, cooking and travel.
Linda Marcus was born in “sweet home Alabama” and has been living in San Antonio for the past 25 years. She received her AAS in Accounting at the Ashworth College of Business. Prior to joining Deacon Recruiting on the Accounting and Finance team, Linda had a successful career in marketing and business development. She is recognized for successfully handling client specific priorities with competence and exemplary follow-up. Linda brings her exceptional skill set and the tenacity to develop and implement career transitions to the Deacon Recruiting team.
She and her husband are empty nesters with two of the sweetest pups, Cooper and Willow. When she isn’t working, you’ll find her enjoying boat rides on the lake, swinging a golf club or with her “grown and gone” children. Linda is passionate about volunteering and giving back to the community. She has served on various committees such as The After Sunday Project and volunteering at the Seton house.
Paola was born and raised in Sylmar, California and relocated to San Antonio in January 2008. After college, she immediately began shaping her career where she joined the Hospitality Industry gaining years of customer service and management experience. She became a Certified Tourism Ambassador for the City of San Antonio where she strives to increase tourism and promotes hospitality for the beautiful city of SA.
Her strong work ethic and passion for people drove her to expand her career and joined the recruiting industry. In 2015, she internationally recruited students in the Philippines for culture opportunities in San Antonio. She joined Deacon in 2019, bringing in years of sourcing and recruiting experience along with motivation to contribute to Deacon’s success.
Paola lives in San Antonio with her husband Benjamin and their dog, Flynn. They both enjoy listening to live music, traveling, trying out new experiences, but above all, spending time with family.
Felicia is a Recruiter in Deacon’s Information Technology Division. The division focuses on placing Information Technology Professionals in a variety of roles including Developers, Analysts, Engineers, Architects, and IT Leaders.
Felicia graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. Prior to joining Deacon, she worked in the Private Security industry for 8 years. Her vast ability to maintain and build lasting relationships combined with her results-driven mindset has contributed to her quick success with Deacon.
Felicia lives in San Antonio with her significant other, Mike, step-son, Mikey, mini dachshund, Bessie, and tuxedo cat, James Bond “JB.” She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trying new restaurants, and participating in and watching sporting events.
Amanda is a Director in Deacon’s Corporate Services Division. Amanda’s area of specialty is Banking, specifically Commercial Loan Assistants, Credit Analysts, Commercial Loan Officers, and C-level Banking Executives.
Amanda graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Consumer Sciences. Amanda joined Deacon in 2012 as an Associate Recruiter and was consistently promoted based on her performance and dedication to exceptional service. She enjoyed a brief 1.5 year hiatus to get married and build a beautiful home. Deacon is delighted to welcome Amanda back to Team Deacon in 2017. She led the Corporate Services Division prior to her leave and has a reputation of connecting “A” Players with award winning companies in the San Antonio area. Building and maintaining strong professional relationships has been an important priority for Amanda over the years.
Amanda lives in New Braunfels with her husband, Wayne. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, tubing the river in Gruene, trying new restaurants, and salt-water fishing.
Ashley is an Director in Deacon’s Corporate Services Division. Her areas of specialty are Banking, Marketing, Sales, and Executive Administrative Support.
Ashley graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Leadership Studies with minors in Communications and Human Resource Development. Ashley began her career at Deacon Recruiting in 2013 and takes pride in her outstanding organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to empathize with a variety of people, which has aided in her success at Deacon. She is very involved in the community; she is an active member of Junior League of San Antonio since 2012. Throughout her career at Deacon, Ashley has been regularly recognized as Top Quarterly Performer and Top Monthly Performer among her colleagues. Ashley is gifted in identifying top talent for Deacon’s Client Companies, and is committed to providing exceptional customer service to both Client Companies and Candidates she serves.
Ashley lives in San Antonio with her husband, Duncan and daughter, Bo Lenae. She enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Holly is the Divisional Director of Deacon’s IT/Medical Division. The IT Division focuses on placing Information Technology Professionals in the areas of Leadership, Project Management, Software Development and Security. The Medical Division focuses on placing professionals in hospitals and clinics nationwide in Radiation Oncology, specifically Medical Physics, Dosimetry, and Radiation Therapy.
Holly graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership. Holly joined Deacon Recruiting in 2011 and quickly advanced into her current role as a Director. Holly has been consistently recognized throughout her tenure at Deacon, including Top Quarterly and Top Monthly Performer. Her extensive experience in the Recruiting Profession ensures a high level of cultural and functional fit for each selected candidate for Deacon’s Client Companies.
Holly lives in San Antonio with her husband, Bernie, and three children, Brianna, Hudson, and Beckett.
Phil is the Director in Deacon’s Medical Division. The practice focuses on placing professionals in hospitals and clinics nationwide in Radiation Oncology, specifically Medical Physics, Dosimetry, and Radiation Therapy.
Phil has been a professional Recruiter since 1997 and joined Deacon Recruiting in 2004 as a Recruiter in the Medical Division. Over his tenure, Phil transitioned from a Recruiter in the Medical Division to an IT Recruiter, and then returned to the Medical Division into his current role. Throughout his career at Deacon, Phil has earned numerous awards for Top Quarterly Performer, Top Monthly Performer, and Top Producer of the Year. Phil is also a 3-Time Deacon Consultant of the Year Award Winner and 4-Time Deacon Recognition of Excellence Award Winner. Additionally, he was recognized by the Texas Association of Personnel Consultants for Outstanding Achievement in 2005 in the Medical arena. Phil continues to be a top producer among his colleagues placing top tier candidates with Deacon’s Client Companies.

Cathi is Deacon’s Business Development Divisional Director. As the Business Development Divisional Director, Cathi focuses on maintaining and creating relationships with Deacon’s Client Companies and Candidates.
Cathi graduated from Tyler Junior College with a degree in Radiologic Technologies. She transitioned from the Medical industry to Recruiting in 2010 when she joined Deacon Recruiting. During her tenure, Cathi has received many awards including Top Quarterly Performer, Top Monthly Performer, and was recognized as Deacon’s Consultant of the Year in 2014. Cathi is 6 Sigma Certified and was a previous board member of SAHRMA. She continuously attends various networking events in the San Antonio area and has been a speaker at many of those events including the North San Antonio Chamber’s Leadership Lab. In addition to Cathi’s frequent participation in San Antonio’s numerous networking events, she also spearheaded Deacon’s critical relationship with the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation. Cathi’s invaluable, growing network and vast knowledge has aided in her many successes at Deacon.
Cathi lives in San Antonio with her husband, Jeff. She enjoys spending time outdoors, live music, and the many cultural activities that are available in beautiful South Texas.
Emily is the Divisional Director of Deacon’s Training & Development. The practice focuses on creating continuous training for Deacon’s new and existing employees.
Emily graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She has been in the Recruiting industry for over 15 years, specializing in the fields of Human Resources and Office Services. Emily joined Deacon Recruiting in 2004. In 2016, Emily co-founded Deacon’s Training and Development Division and by 2017, she became the Divisional Director of Training and Development. In addition to her Divisional Director role, Emily also is a member of Deacon’s Key Leadership Team. Furthermore, Emily is an active participant in the Association of Talent Development and continues to implement new concepts and ideas into Deacon’s monthly trainings. Emily’s complete understanding of Deacon’s Best Practices allows her to develop detailed ongoing training for Deacon’s Recruiters.
Emily lives in San Antonio with her husband, Trey, and children, Zachery and Emma.
Lauren is the Divisional Director of Deacon’s Corporate Services Division. Her specialties in the Corporate Services Division are placing Human Resources, Marketing, Operations, and Executive Administrative Support Professionals.
Lauren graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication. Prior to joining Deacon Recruiting, Lauren acquired 13 years of experience in Management, Sales, and Marketing. She began her career with Deacon in 2012 as an Associate Recruiter in the Corporate Services Division and was quickly promoted to her current role as the Divisional Director. Throughout her time at Deacon, Lauren has been recognized for her many accomplishments including, Rookie of the Year in 2013, Top Monthly Performer, and Top Quarterly Performer. In addition to her many internal successes, Lauren is also involved in the San Antonio community. She serves as a Committee Chair for SAHRMA, is on the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Executive Leadership Board, has served as a Scholarship Judge for EWI for the last two years, and has been a Speaker at the UTSA Cap Program. Her invaluable network and strong community presence allows Lauren to consistently place top talent with Deacon’s Client Companies.
Lauren lives in San Antonio with her husband, Chris, two children, Camryn and Jordan. She loves to run, play golf, and spend time with family and friends.
Dana is the Senior Divisional Director in Deacon’s Accounting-Finance Division. The practice focuses on placing Accounting & Finance Professionals from staff through executive levels.
Dana graduated from Texas Lutheran University with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. She began her career with Deacon Recruiting in 2011 as an Associate Recruiter and was quickly promoted to Recruiter, Senior Recruiter, Executive Senior Recruiter, and then to her current role, Senior Divisional Director. During her tenure, Dana has consistently received numerous awards for Top Quarterly and Top Monthly Performer and was recognized as Deacon’s 2012 Rookie of the Year. Combined with Dana’s results driven approach and Deacon’s Best Practices, she is able to identify the very best candidates for Deacon’s Client Companies.
Dana lives in San Antonio with her husband, John and daughter, Brooke. She enjoys running, attending workout classes, and spending time with her family and friends.
Ann is a native San Antonian. After graduating from The University of Texas, Ann practiced in public accounting. Ann has been recognized as an industry leader since she entered the staffing industry in 1988. Ann has received numerous awards for outstanding performance as an Executive Recruiter and Industry leader nationally. Ann was recently inducted into the Hall of Fame by the National Association of Personnel Services for her leadership, innovation and contributions to the staffing industry. Ann received the prestigious 2014 Norbert I. B. Fried Ethics National Award in recognition of her efforts to upgrade the image and practices of the staffing industry. Ann is the Founder and CEO of Deacon Recruiting Inc., Deacon Professional Services LLC, and Deacon Real LLC. Deacon continues to grow and is the largest Executive Search firm in San Antonio and one of the largest privately held recruiting firms regionally.
Ann continues to give back to the community through her many Board activities. Ann is on the Advisory Council for the UTSA School of Business. Ann is a Past Chairman of the Board for the National Association of Personnel Services and San Antonio Association of Personnel Consultants; and past Executive Board member for the Texas Association of Personnel Consultants. Previous Community Board Leadership positions include the International Entrepreneurs Organization, the Battered Women’s Shelter of Bexar County, Arthritis Foundation, and the Junior League of San Antonio. Mrs. Deacon has received Distinguished Volunteer Awards and the President’s Award from various organizations including the San Antonio Association of Personnel Consultants, the Arthritis Foundation, and the Junior League of San Antonio for her significant contributions.
Ann has been married to her husband, Charlie, for 30 years. She has strong family values and she considers herself fortunate to have close lifelong friends.
