A Professional Tip Brought to You By: Dana Laramore, CPC

With an unemployment rate at 3.5%, good employees have choices.

In this market, it’s very important for the Client to be prepared to share “why” their company or team would be a strong fit for the potential candidate.

In an interview, BOTH parties are being evaluated.

That should include:

  • Why the hiring manager likes to work at the company
  • Perks such as hybrid work environment, benefits, robust 401K match, etc.
  • Make sure to get to know what is important to the candidate-what is their motivation to make a move.  Is it a better culture or upward mobility?  Be prepared to speak to those pain points and what your company can offer them.
