Medical Physicist – Pennsylvania

The Physicist will join a team of 3 other Physicists and 4 Dosimetrists in treating patients at 3 clinical sites located in the same metropolitan area. The sites all use Varian linacs, Pinnacle treatment planning, and MOSAIQ R&V. Treatments include external beam, IMRT, IGRT, HDR brachytherapy (Nucletron Oncentra), Radionics SRS/SRT, and VariSeed LDR brachytherapy.

Candidates must be ABR Board certified and have significant experience with the equipment and modalities detailed above. The Hospital is located in a comfortable and friendly community of approximately 50,000 residents and is easily accessible to larger metro areas.

Dosimetrist – Coastal New England

The CMD will join a team of 3 Physicians, 3 Physicists and 1 additional CMD in treating patients using Eclipse TPS with ARIA on 3 Varian linear accelerators at 2 sites – an EX and a new TrueBeam at the main clinic, and a iX at the satellite clinic just 20 miles away. Treatments also include LDR and HDR brachytherapy using BrachyVision and iPlan and a GE 16-slice CT scanner.

Oncology Program Manager (Locum/Perm) – East Coast

We are currently recruiting a Certified Tumor Registrar for the position of Oncology Program Manager for a major Hospital-based program on the East Coast. The Program Manager will direct the efforts of a team of 3 full-time Registrars in maintaining the Hospital’s cancer registry and serve as the main point of contact for healthcare providers and outside agencies. In addition, the Manager will be responsible for maintaining the program’s certifications and will interact regularly with key members of the Hospital’s clinical and administrative staff.

Candidates must be a designated CTR and have a Bachelors degree in a relevant field, plus 10 years of Cancer Registry management experience. Dosimetrist – Northeast

The Dosimetrist will join a progressive program in a brand-new, state-of-the art Cancer Center which, along with the existing Cancer Center located nearby, treats 50+ patients a day on Varian accelerators (including a new Novalis Tx with BrainLab iPlan), with Pinnacle treatment planning and MOSAIQ record & verify. Treatments include external beam, IMRT, IGRT, and a new HDR brachytherapy program using the Nucletron/OnCentra platform.

Dosimetrist – Midwest PLACED

We are currently recruiting a Certified Medical Dosimetrist for a permanent, full-time position with a Hospital in the Upper Midwest. The Dosimetrist will join a stable and collegial team of 3 other Dosimetrists and 4 Physicists in treating 40-45 patients a day at two centers. Equipment and software includes a Varian Trilogy linac with RapidArc, Eclipse TPS (upgraded in January, 2011), ARIA record & verify, and a GE CT sim in the Department.

Candidates must already have their CMD certification and 3-5 years of current hands-on experience with Eclipse treatment planning. Training on RapidArc will be provided. The Department will go fully paperless in the next 12 months. Dosimetrist – Southeast

We are currently recruiting a Certified Medical Dosimetrist for a full-time, Hospital-based position in the Southeast. The Hospital system treats at five sites in the metropolitan area, with between 30-60 patients per day at the largest Centers, all using Varian linear accelerators.

To be considered, candidates must have current and significant experience (3-5 years minimum) with Eclipse treatment planning software. Record & verify experience with MOSAIQ or ARIA (preferred) is also required. Staff includes 4 additional Dosimetrists and 5 Physicists. Radiation Therapy Engineer (In-House) – Northeast PLACED

The Engineer will provide mechanical and engineering support to the Radiation Oncology department’s hardware including linear accelerators (Varian & Siemens), simulators, HDR brachytherapy afterloaders, stereotactic radiosurgery units, treatment planning systems (Pinnacle and Eclipse), etc.

In addition, the Engineer will design and implement QA standards and programs, recommend upgrades and purchases to maintain the highest standard of safety and quality, and provide training to technical and clinical staff. Travel is limited to the metropolitan area only.

Candidates must have the equivalent knowledge experience of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 3-5 years of relevant experience. The Hospital is recognized internationally for clinical excellence and is committed to continuous improvement.

Director of Regulatory Affairs – Northeast – POSITION PLACED

The Director will report to the VP of Business Development and be responsbile for carrying out the company’s regulatory affairs plans and programs in support of its medical imaging drug development, as well as maintaining the company’s compliance with applicable agencies and commissions (FDA, USDA, NRC, etc.) The Director will also play a key role in the pharmacovigilance of marketed products and advise Sales, Marketing, and other key programs within the company in maintaining compliance.

Candidates must have an advanced degree in a scientific discipline relevant to drug discovery and development, at least 7 years of regulatory affairs experience in a corporate drug development organization, and a very high level of familiarty and understanding of FDA and ICH regulations.

The Physicist will join a second Physicist and 2 Dosimetrists in opening a brand new treatment facility, set to begin treating patients in early June. The legacy program is currently treating 35-45 patients a day on a Varian iX linac with Eclipse TPS and MOSAIQ, plus 1-2 HDR cases per week using VariSource. The new Center will house the existing linac, plus the addition of a Novalis Tx for linac-based SRS.

Candidates must be ABR Board-certified and have current hands-on experience with the Novalis Tx platform.
