			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Engineer will provide mechanical and engineering support to the Radiation Oncology department’s hardware including linear accelerators (Varian &amp; Siemens), simulators, HDR brachytherapy afterloaders, stereotactic radiosurgery units, treatment planning systems (Pinnacle and Eclipse), etc. </p>
<p>In addition, the Engineer will design and implement QA standards and programs, recommend upgrades and purchases to maintain the highest standard of safety and quality, and provide training to technical and clinical staff.  Travel is limited to the metropolitan area only. </p>
<p>Candidates must have the equivalent knowledge experience of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 3-5 years of relevant experience.  The Hospital is recognized internationally for clinical excellence and is committed to continuous improvement.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are currently recruiting a <strong>Clinical Applications Specialist</strong> for a successful, established and growing manufacturer of Oncology treatment products, located in the Southeastern US.</p>
<p>The Applications Specialist will serve as the 3<sup>rd</sup>-tier escalation support expert in assisting customers with technical issues that may arise in their use of the company’s line of patient QA products.  On average, the team handles 2-3 new cases per day and closes each case on average within one week.</p>
<p>In addition to technical knowledge and ability, candidates must possess a variety of qualitative skills including attention to detail, the ability to troubleshoot by communicating effectively and patiently with the customer, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a positive attitude that translates to customers and team members.</p>
<p>A Masters degree in Physics, Engineering or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of related industry experience and 3 years of customer relations.  Knowledge of Oncology treatment planning systems and the clinical QA cycle from simulation through planning, pre-treatment QA and treatment is essential.  The position is based in a family-oriented community offering an excellent quality and cost of living, and requires less than 25% travel.</p>
