			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are currently recruiting a <strong>Certified Medical Dosimetrist</strong> for a permanent, full-time position with a Hospital in the Upper Midwest.  The Dosimetrist will join a stable and collegial team of 3 other Dosimetrists and 4 Physicists in treating 40-45 patients a day at two centers.  Equipment and software includes a Varian Trilogy linac with RapidArc, Eclipse TPS (upgraded in January, 2011), ARIA record &amp; verify, and a GE CT sim in the Department.</p>
<p>Candidates must already have their CMD certification and 3-5 years of current hands-on experience with Eclipse treatment planning.  Training on RapidArc will be provided.  The Department will go fully paperless in the next 12 months.  The Hospital and its satellite center are only 35 miles apart and are located in comfortable, family-friendly communities that offer cost-of-living comparisons well below the national average and four seasons of recreational activities.</p>

<p>The Applications Specialist will serve as the 3<sup>rd</sup>-tier escalation support expert in assisting customers with technical issues that may arise in their use of the company’s line of patient QA products.  On average, the team handles 2-3 new cases per day and closes each case on average within one week.</p>
<p>In addition to technical knowledge and ability, candidates must possess a variety of qualitative skills including attention to detail, the ability to troubleshoot by communicating effectively and patiently with the customer, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a positive attitude that translates to customers and team members.</p>
<p>A Masters degree in Physics, Engineering or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of related industry experience and 3 years of customer relations.  Knowledge of Oncology treatment planning systems and the clinical QA cycle from simulation through planning, pre-treatment QA and treatment is essential.  The position is based in a family-oriented community offering an excellent quality and cost of living, and requires less than 25% travel.</p>
