If there is not a good match, your interview summary and resume will be confidentially maintained in our database for future opportunities.

Second Round Interview
Once a position IS available that matches your qualifications and career goals, your Deacon Professional Recruiter will contact you for a more in depth interview to discuss your goals as well as to brief you on the position. If you and your Deacon Professional Recruiter feel the opportunity would be a wise career move, the recruiter will schedule an interview and give you some helpful interview tips. Make sure to ask for a business card from your interviewer so that you may follow up that same day with a thank you card. Check out our resources page for help with writing a professional post-interview thank you note.

Debrief
After the interview, you will need to contact your recruiter to discuss the results of the interview. Your recruiter will give feedback to the Client and help in coordinating future interviews if they are needed.

Offer
When the match is right between Client and Candidate, an offer is made for you to accept…and it is all at no charge to the Candidate!

Something to think about…
Your recruiter can be a very valuable contact throughout your career, not just during the job search. You know your doctor, your lawyer, and your hairdresser and they know about you! Your recruiter should be the same. Keep in touch with your recruiter, tell them about your promotions and job experiences, tell them about your friends and co-workers that are looking for new opportunities, and then when you are ready to make a career move, they will know your history. You become more than just a Candidate; you become a Most Valuable Candidate.
