Ann Bohl Deacon is the Founder and CEO of Deacon Recruiting, Inc. and Deacon Professional Services. She is a native San Antonian, graduated from The University of Texas, and practiced in public accounting before entering the staffing industry in 1988.

Ann has received numerous awards for her outstanding performance as an Executive Recruiter and industry leader both locally and statewide. The San Antonio Association of Personnel Consultants recognized her with the “Consultant of the Year” Award in 1997, 1998, 2003, 2004, and 2005. She has received the “Top 15 Producer” Award from the Texas Association of Personnel Consultants every year since 1997. Currently, Ann is serving on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Personnel Services, Texas Association of Personnel Consultants, and the San Antonio Association of Personnel Consultants.

Ann Bohl Deacon continues to give back to the community through her many board activities. She is a Past Chairman of the Board for the San Antonio Association of Personnel Consultants, and Past Executive Board member for the Texas Association of Personnel Consultants. She has served on several Community Boards of Directors including the International Entrepreneurs Organization, the Battered Women’s Shelter of Bexar County, Arthritis Foundation, and the Junior League of San Antonio. Ann has received Distinguished Volunteer Awards and the President’s Award from various organizations such as the San Antonio Association of Personnel Consultants, the Arthritis Foundation, and the Junior League of San Antonio for her significant contributions.

Abigail Erwin is President of Deacon Recruiting, Inc. and Deacon Professional Services. Abby received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Computer Information Systems from Baylor University and her MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Her experience includes Auditing in the Big 4, Oil & Gas, and Banking industries. Abigail has 16 years Executive Management experience in the banking industry where she as acted as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, President, and Consultant.
