Title: Vice President of Sales
Description
Seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to fill the position of Vice President of Sales at the corporate office located in San Antonio, Texas.
Reporting directly to the President of the Company. This will be an extremely fulfilling career opportunity in sales including national sales account management, sales and marketing planning and business development and consulting. The Vice President of Sales will play an integral role in the leadership of the organization by participating with the executive management team and contributing to the strategic planning process for the future growth.
Job Summary

Direct and coordinate national sales, new business development, marketing and customer service

Manage the department budget and recruit, train and supervise the professionals on the entire team

Requires advanced leadership skills to direct the development of short and long-term strategic business plans for the Company to ensure future growth and success.

Integral member of planning and policy-making team

This position requires 60% overnight travel and will perform other assigned duties.
Requirements

Demonstrated executive expertise in national sales and marketing

Direct experience negotiating sales contracts, generating revenue expectations, and establishing sales quota targets

Prove success with marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful “branding” efforts

Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
-
5+ years of relevant experience selling to food manufacturing companies
-
Masters Degree preferred
Compensation: $100-140K with up to 5% bonus
