Title: ACCOUNTANT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This person will work in the accounting department reporting to the Controller.  Occasionally, this person will be called upon to do work in other areas as needed.

DUTIES

• Accounting and correspondence. Mapping; Entering data. Assist with correspondence; Division Orders, Doc Filing.
• Journal entries for accounting
• Financial Statements
• Asset Accounting
• Depreciation Schedules
• Review weekly investment report
• Helping with year end tax work
• Assisting with phone coverage as needed
• Works closely with outside consultants gathering data

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Detail-oriented and accurate
• Oriented to and comfortable with numbers
• Proficient with Excel
• Willingness to learn and ability to follow directions
• Experience with Great Plains and Petroware would be helpful.
• Experience with Oil & Gas would be helpful.

COMPENSATION

$ 35,000 to 45,000 Depending on experience/education
