Title: Sales and Use Tax Accountant

Job Description:

• Compiles transaction data for the timely file of multi-state sales and use tax returns
• Reconciles sales tax general ledger accounts
• Ensures compliance with multiple state tax laws
• Conducts self audits for multiple divisions
• Manages the sales tax audit process
• Responsible for IFTA, Heavy Use and Fuel Tax Reports

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of sales and use tax experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Confident and effective communicator
• Hands-on duties required
• Experience developing internal controls

Compensation: Up to $65K depending on education and experience
